We think Scoot Boots are brilliant because:
they are easy to handle, do not absorb water, cleaning is unbeatably easy and there are no wires, buckles or Velcro fasteners. Scootboots are also very light at around 250 grams per shoe, extremely durable and breathable. Water and small stones can easily escape. Scootboots are available in 22 sizes, including slim versions for narrow hooves. With a choice of 7 colors, they can be easily adapted to personal preferences. Scootboots have a good profile for all surfaces and are suitable for trail riding, jumping, carriage driving, dressage riding, endurance riding, but also as a patient shoe or therapy shoe 24/7. The Scootboots can be upgraded with mud straps for extreme conditions such as extremely muddy terrain. In the following short manufacturer videos you can see how easy Scootboots are to put on and how easy it is to change the front straps (toe straps).
Who we are:
We’re a small company based in Austria, and we sell Scootboots through our online store. You’ve come to the right place if you already own a pair and want to buy new ones, or even if you just want to learn more about Scootboots. We own horses ourselves and have been happy Scootboot owners for several years. Before that, we tried countless hoof boots but never found the right ones for us. For me, it was always important that the hoof boots were easy to put on and easy to clean. I also never wanted a cumbersome fastener or hoof boots that were constantly damp and smelly. With Scoot Boots, we’ve finally found hoof boots that are simple yet ingenious. Putting them on is a breeze, and cleaning them is a piece of cake. After riding, I just give the Scoot Boots a quick shake to knock off the coarse dirt. Every now and then I hose them down or submerge them in a bucket of water. Since they don’t absorb water, they’re ready to use again immediately, which is especially valuable during the transition phase from shoes to bare hooves. We mainly use the Scoot Boots for trail riding and carriage driving. Some friends of ours even jump with the Scoot Boots, but we prefer to stay on the ground. They’ve proven especially useful for harnessing because there’s very little wear and tear. Every driver knows that the wear on hoof boots is far greater during carriage driving than during riding. We’ve even lent our Scootboots to half the stable. Sometimes when the shoes need to come off so the horse can acclimate to the herd. Or even when horses lose a shoe, as a temporary solution until the farrier arrives. As recovery shoes for abscesses or to protect a hoof bandage, our Scootboots have been in use 24/7 on the horse’s hoof. The price of Scootboots is also reasonable; new ones cost about the same as many other used hoof boots. You can buy Scootboots from us starting at €170 per pair. Sometimes we can also offer you used Scootboots from customers or test returns.
