I bought the scootboots for my Tinker mare, she wears them on the front and back of her hooves. They are easy to put on and take off and they hold at all gaits. I am very happy with them.

The best hoof boots I have tried so far! Easy to put on and take off, slip-resistant on snow and ice, the weight of the shoe itself is low and the colors are great.
I have some for my Noriker, Arabian and warmblood mare and they are all holding up quite well so far. I did lose a shoe once, but I know that about the horse...
I also find the service here unbeatably courteous and nice!!!

Michi was very friendly and helpful in finding the right size. I used to use Equine Fusion boots but unfortunately the front ones twisted and the back ones, which I currently leave up all the time in the open stable, always soaked up the water and were then very heavy and cold. I haven't had any problems with the Scoot Boots so far and my horse seems to have noticed that they are good for him, because at the beginning he was a bit fussy when I put them on and now he lifts his hoof on his own and waits until I put them on. They can also withstand romping around in the snow in the pasture without any problems :D
After a few days he was slightly sore in the crook of the fetlock on the right side. But I expected this, as I use lambskin protectors almost everywhere on him to avoid this. I then used the Endurance Gaiter on the leg instead of the Trail Gaiter and now the area is healing without any problems, even though the shoe is still in constant use. Perhaps the problem will go away once his hooves have had a chance to grow back a little and the "edge" is no longer in this exact spot.
I use the MudStraps at the front instead of the normal fetlock straps so that he doesn't always undo them himself and that works really well.
Shipping is also problem-free. Parcels arrive the next day or the day after, depending on when you order them.
I am very satisfied and my stable mates and I buy from here again and again.

The fitting went without a hitch. The first rides have now been completed. Mud, water, stones, etc. all no problem. Without shoes, this would not be possible at the moment. That's why I'm extremely happy to have found these shoes, especially for my horse.

I was warned in advance how difficult it is to find suitable hoof boots for an Icelandic horse. The search was also lengthy but then I came across Scoot Boots! Thanks to the great advice with phone calls, photos and videos, we have finally found the right boots for my Icelandic lady ? they are easy to put on and take off, easy to clean and look super smart! My hoof trimmer has a test kit, so it was very easy to determine the right size for the shoes and then test whether the shoe fits.
The Scoot Boots were delivered super fast. They come in a cloth bag with all the spare parts, the gaiters (protection for the bales) and practical instructions (including a link to the video).
Everything went very quickly at the stable: open the hoof, put the shoe on and close it. The trick with the hoof pick is worth its weight in gold.
The first few steps were still a little stiff, the new soles were a little unfamiliar, but a few minutes later it was as if the shoes had always been there.
In the first few days, use is monitored critically, but so far I have not noticed any chafing or similar.
I am very satisfied with the quality!
