About the Anti Slip Shims:
The Scoot Boots Anti Slip Shims are made of anti-slip material (2-3 mm thick). They are inserted in the front area between the hoof and the scoot boot and provide
- extra safety when the hoof gets wet and slippery,
- act as a “filler” and help to achieve a better fit when the hoof is between two sizes or has contracted due to dryness
- can help with rotating hooves or steep toe walls
The shims are simply inserted into the hoof boots and can be easily removed when they are not needed.
